The New Deal armchair was produced in 1929 by Savina Pisani according to the notes of her husband, Renzo Frau. Observing the characteristic design of the armrests and the trim on the back consisting of little pins, it is easy to see that in reality the New Deal is an early version of the famous Vanity Fair with smaller dimensions and a circular backrest.
