Poltrona Frau presents the First Lifestyle Experience Hub and the New Retail Concept

Poltrona Frau is thrilled to announce the opening of its First Lifestyle Experience Hub and the New Retail Concept of a Flagship Store in Shanghai, located in the Jing'An District. It's a dynamic space designed to facilitate encounters, collisions, and creativity.

Designed by AMDL CIRCLE, the multidisciplinary creative studio founded by Michele De Lucchi, the new Flagship Store in Shanghai is Poltrona Frau's largest exhibition space. Spanning three floors and covering an area of 2,000 square meters within the East Hengtong Road shopping center.

The architectural project challenges the traditional image of the flagship store as a static exhibition space. The concept of the store evolves into a hub for gathering, innovation, and dialogue. It's a dynamic and comfortable environment that encourages new encounters and offers increasingly exciting and engaging experiences. That's why Poltrona Frau calls it a Lifestyle Experience Hub.

To celebrate this recent opening, Poltrona Frau presents the new Boutique Edition for Shanghai revisiting the Ming's Heart armchairs by Shi-Chieh Lu. The Ming's Heart Boutique Edition is available in only 88 pieces – a number that symbolizes luck and prosperity in China - each of them featuring a vibrant Saddle Extra Carminio Red leather upholstery, and a gold-painted satin-finished steel frame with a laser engraving that certifies that the product belongs to this special edition. Both features further accentuate the cultural richness of this limited edition and emphasize its festive and celebratory spirit.

These Boutique Editions are Poltrona Frau's tribute to the cities and places around the world that host brand's flagship stores. Inspired by the territories they will inhabit, these models combine aesthetic citations, colors and atmospheres that rest gently on the timeless design of the product, creating exclusive, limited edition versions.
