Overlooking the picturesque marina of Cagliari, the hometown of the founder of Poltrona Frau, Renzo Frau, the new lifestyle hotel Palazzo Tirso - MGallery is a 5-star hotel in the city, resulting from the interior architecture project curated by Studio Marco Piva.
Poltrona Frau Custom Interiors business unit played a significant role in supplying almost all the bespoke furnishings and a curated selection of iconic pieces already in the catalog, such as the Archibald seat, Clayton sofa and Martha armchair.
Custom productions included not only common areas such as the lobby, restaurants and spa, but also extended to the guest rooms and suites, comprising fixed furniture, upholstery, boiserie and structural elements such as bar counters and kitchen blocks.
At every stage of the process, both the stylistic aspects and the technical requirements of the hotel industry were taken into utmost consideration, using high-quality materials and exquisite manufacturing, carried out in perfect synergy with Studio Marco Piva's design vision. The result is an immersive place with a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere, rich in handcrafted details that convey a sophisticated and timeless elegance.

Bay system wins the HiP Awards 2023
New Bay System seating solution has won the prestigious HiP Awards 2023. Now in its 10th year, Interior Design's HiP Awards at NeoCon 2023 honoured the industry pioneers and celebrated their innovative products. At its presentation to the U.S. market, the new seating system designed by Foster + Partners and developed with the Custom Interiors business unit won the Lounge Seating category award. Starting today the time spent in public spaces takes on a new meaning thanks to the modular Bay system.
Poltrona Frau at Designer Days in Paris
Poltrona Frau is thrilled to have participated in the prestigious "Designer Days" fair in Paris, one of the most significant events in the design industry. From June 14th to 17th, Poltrona Frau flagship store in Paris underwent a complete layout overhaul to showcase the highly anticipated new offerings for 2023. One of the undeniable highlights was the new edition of the iconic Dezza armchair designed by Gio Ponti, featuring the brand new Redevance upholstery fabric, whose original pattern was conceived by the designer himself, and has now been meticulously restored through an extensive archival research.
